Buyer and Seller

The amount of time an Escrow takes greatly depends on the cooperation of the buyer and seller. Escrows, where both parties have good communication and respond quickly, can be completed much quicker.

Funding

Funding an Escrow can take new buyers some time,.

  • For Crypto the time can be as quick as a few minutes but can take up to 3 hours if the buyer is new to the platform.

TikTok and Instagram Escrow

An escrow for an Instagram or TikTok can be completed in as little as 3 to 7 days after it is funded if the seller immediately provides the details of the account and the buyer takes over the account on the same day of completing the confirmation.

Once the seller submits the log-in details, the buyer has 3 days to confirm the Escrow on Socia Escrow, after which they are sent a second confirmation email, to which they have 7 days to respond.

The payout to the seller is processed once the buyer completes the confirmations.

YouTube Escrows

Since YouTube escrows are done through Transfer of Ownership, they take a minimum of 1 week to complete once funded. Once the buyer is the primary owner of the channel, they will need to confirm the escrow on Socia Escrow, and the seller is paid out on the same or next business day.

Transfer of Login Details

Instagram and TikTok Escrows work through the transfer of Login Details, which is facilitated on Fameswap. Do not give the logins to the buyer outside of Fameswap or through email. When the Buyers funds are received, the Seller will be prompted to provide the logins on the Fameswap Escrow built-in chat feature.

Original Email

Instagram accounts must be transferred along with the OG email (Email that was used to create the account), in order to ensure that the Buyer will be able to secure the account and have full control. Having the OG email part of the transaction is only optional for TikTok accounts. 

2FA

For both social media types, the Seller must disable any 2FAs on the account before providing the logins to the Buyer.

Escrow Steps for Instagram and TikTok:

  1. The Buyer is required to submit an offer over $100 on the Socia Escrow.

  2. The Seller will accept the buyer's offer and initiate Escrow page.

  3. Buyer and Seller must then agree to Socia Escrow terms and fees.

  4. Next, the Buyer needs to fund the escrow, by sending Crypto.

  5. Once the funds are received in our Escrow account, the seller is notified to provide the required listing information on Socia Escrow.

  6. Once information by the Seller is verified for accuracy, it is passed on to the Buyer for approval.

  7. The Buyer will have 3 days to review the account and mark the Escrow complete (or start a dispute). When the escrow is in "complete" status the seller will be able to add their payout details (USDT or BTC).
  8. After the Escrow is complete, a confirmation email will be sent out to the buyer. To speed up the payout process for the Seller, the Buyer must reply to our email and confirm that the account(s) is fully in its possession.

PayPal

Being paid out with PayPal is easy and fast. All we need is your PayPal email address. PayPal transfers are instant and will show up on your PayPal account right after being sent. There is a receiving fee of about 3%. PayPal Transfers will be sent in USD. (Only businesses or companies can use this option.)

Crypto

You can choose to be paid by crypto into your BTC, or USDR (TRC20) wallet. All you need to do is select Balance as your payout option after the completion of escrow, and you can withdraw that balance into crypto. *There is an additional crypto withdrawal fee, which is sent to the network miners to process your transaction. We recommend you visit your balance page to find out the current fees.
